Two ESTA Awards for Wagenborg Nedlift
Little powerhouses
The project “Small powerhouses do big work” won the award in the category up to 120 tonnes lifting capacity. In this project, two mini cranes were used to place a 10-tonne filter press on a platform in a process building.
It was a precision job with very limited lifting height and a very small set-up space for the cranes, which required careful preparation by the project team and excellent craftsmanship from the mini crane operators.
Fitting and measuring
The second award was presented in the SPMT category and concerned the transport of the stern section for the Maxima, Royal Wagenborg's latest EasyMax2 multipurpose vessel.
This 650-tonne colossus was driven out of the Niestern Sander shipyard hall with minimal manoeuvring space and positioned against the midsection of the ship with millimetre precision. A true feat of steering skill by the SPMT operator!
Extremely proud!
These two ESTA Awards are a wonderful recognition for all Wagenborg Nedlift employees, who time and again develop special customised solutions for the most diverse lifting and transport challenges. We are therefore extremely proud!
