That is the safety objective of Wagenborg Nedlift. To achieve this, we focus on:
- reporting, investigating, evaluating, and providing feedback on hazardous situations and (near-)incidents
- promoting safety awareness and safe behavior at all levels of the organization
- the systematic management of safety and quality
Reporting, investigating and recording
At Wagenborg Nedlift, safety goes digital. Through the user-friendly MoreApp safety app, employees can easily report (near-)incidents, receive safety information, and complete forms, all directly from the workplace.
MoreApp provides access to up-to-date safety instructions, toolbox forms, and reporting forms. Users can also add photos of on-site situations to their reports. The information is forwarded immediately, enabling managers and HSEQ specialists to respond quickly and take appropriate action.
All reports and data submitted through MoreApp are linked to Wagenborg Nedlift's Quality Register System (QRS). Within this system, all HSEQ data is recorded, analyzed, evaluated, and reported in a clear and structured manner. This ensures that safety remains a continuous focus and can be effectively monitored and measured.

Actively committed to safety within the industry
At Wagenborg, we work every day to deliver safe solutions for customers across a wide range of industries. With our extensive knowledge and experience in safety related to heavy transport and lifting operations, we actively contribute to improving safety standards within the industry.
That is why we are actively involved in, among other things:
- The Contractor Safety Platform at Chemie Park Delfzijl
- The Occupational Health and Safety Committee of the VVT (Association for Vertical Transport)
We also endorse the Safety Governance Code for Construction. By doing so, we commit ourselves to the principles and core values aimed at structurally reducing safety risks within the construction industry. This code is a joint commitment by leading construction companies, clients, and consultancy firms to raise safety standards throughout the entire construction supply chain.
At Wagenborg, safety means more than simply following rules; it is a shared responsibility. That is why, in 2024, we launched the Pause Button Campaign. Read more here about what this campaign entails and what it means.
Safety Culture Ladder (SCL) Level 4 Certification
The Safety Culture Ladder (SCL) measures safety awareness and safe behavior (culture and conduct). The ladder consists of five levels that reflect the stages of development in safety awareness.
We continuously work to improve safety awareness and strengthen our safety culture. Our goal is zero accidents. Our motto is: “Everyone home safe at the end of every working day, every day!”
We report, investigate, evaluate, and provide feedback on reports and (near-)incidents. In addition, we promote safety awareness and safe behavior at all levels of the organization.
We are therefore proud that Wagenborg Nedlift and Wagenborg GmbH have achieved Level 4 certification on the Safety Culture Ladder for the scope: “The execution of horizontal, vertical, and specialized transport, including associated assembly, engineering, and project management activities.”
Quality Management System and Certifications
The Wagenborg Nedlift Management System describes the company's processes within an integrated management system that encompasses quality, health, safety, and environmental management.
