New 300 tonne crane for Wagenborg Nedlift

The crane fleet of Wagenborg Nedlift has recently been expanded with the latest model in the 300 tonne range from the Manitowoc stable: the Grove GMK6300L-1. A beautiful addition!

Improved lifing capacity

‘Our experiences over the past years with the Grove GMK6300L were so positive that we decided to invest in a second Grove of this capacity range', says Johan Bakker, Manager Fleet & Maintenance at Wagenborg Nedlift.

'The latest 300 tonne capacity model from Grove, the GMK6300L-1, has even better features than previous versions. Thus, the lifting capacity is considerably improved: at a full mast length of 80 meters even more than 10%! This new model is also equipped with handy tools for faster assembly and disassembly.'

Safe and sustainable

‘Moreover, this new 6-axle crane has very economical and clean Stage V engines. This results in savings on fuel consumption and limits harmful emissions,' Johan continues.

‘The GMK6300L-1 is equipped with a load view camera, side view camera, reversing camera and additional working lights on the sides and back of the crane. This gives our operators a good view of the lifting operation and the immediate surroundings of the crane at all times, which improves safety', Johan concludes.

'I wish our crane operators Erik Damhuis and Sander Vollenbroek a lot of success and many safe working hours with their new crane!'
